Velfix-Edge-S combines the secure, bordered, window-frame design of Velfix-Edge with a soft-silicone skin-contact adhesive. The silicone adheres gently but securely to fragile skin and releases without stripping the epidermis, greatly reducing pain and skin damage at dressing changes.

This makes it ideal for neonates, paediatric patients and the elderly, or anyone with delicate or compromised skin who still needs reliable cannula securement and clear visualisation of the I.V. site. The film remains breathable and waterproof for a protective bacterial and viral barrier.
