Velnet is a 100% cotton tubular stockinette applied as the first layer under a cast to protect the skin from friction and provide a smooth, comfortable interface. It is soft, breathable and gentle against the skin.

Used together with undercast padding, Velnet helps finish the cast edges neatly and keeps the limb comfortable throughout the immobilisation period.
