3M Steri-Strip R1547 reinforced adhesive skin closures are sterile wound-closure strips made from a porous, non-woven backing coated with a hypoallergenic pressure-sensitive adhesive and reinforced with polyester filaments for added strength. They provide a simple, atraumatic way to approximate wound edges without needles.

The micro-porous, breathable material is strong yet comfortable to wear and helps distribute tension across the wound, supporting healing with a low risk of skin reaction. Steri-Strip closures are widely used to close small lacerations and surgical incisions, to provide added support after early suture or staple removal, and to reduce tension on sutured wounds. Product and packaging are latex-free.
