Product description

DuoDERM Extra Thin is a thin, flexible, low-profile hydrocolloid dressing for dry to lightly exuding wounds. It combines ConvaTec's hydrocolloid skin-contact formulation with a thin, vapour-permeable polyurethane outer film that provides a waterproof bacterial and viral barrier while intact and leak-free.

The smooth, low-friction outer surface resists catching on clothing and bedding, reducing shear and discomfort, while its conformability makes it easy to mould around awkward body contours such as heels, elbows and the sacrum.

The hydrocolloid gels on contact with light exudate to minimize leakage and maintain a moist wound-healing environment, and the dressing removes with little or no damage to fragile newly formed tissue. Extended wear time reduces dressing-change frequency.
