The 3M Tegaderm +Pad is an all-in-one island dressing combining a waterproof, breathable transparent film with a central low-adherent absorbent pad. The film border seals the wound from outside water, bacteria and viruses while the non-adherent pad absorbs exudate and lifts away cleanly at dressing changes, minimizing trauma and pain on removal.

It is ideal for protecting minor surgical incisions, lacerations and abrasions, and lets patients shower without removing the dressing. The 8582 is a compact +Pad size, while the 8591 (HP+Pad) is a long, high-performance variant designed for larger incisions such as orthopedic or surgical wounds (9cm x 25cm).

Both sizes provide a breathable, moisture-vapour-permeable film that supports moist wound healing while keeping the site protected and showerable.
