The 3M 1860 is a dual-purpose N95 health care particulate respirator and surgical mask designed specifically for the health-care setting. It is NIOSH-approved to filter at least 95% of non-oil-based airborne particles and is FDA-cleared for use as a surgical mask, with over 99% bacterial filtration efficiency (ASTM F2101).

The rigid cup-shaped design maintains its shape during use, while dual braided headbands, soft inner material, nose foam and an adjustable aluminium noseclip provide a secure, comfortable custom seal. It is fluid resistant to splash and spatter of blood and body fluids (ASTM F1862) and contains no natural rubber latex — making it a trusted choice for surgery, isolation and airborne-precaution care.
