Product description

DuoDERM CGF (Control Gel Formula) is ConvaTec's flagship hydrocolloid dressing for partial- and full-thickness wounds with light to moderate exudate. It pairs a flexible polyurethane outer layer with an adhesive skin-contact layer containing a unique hydrocolloid that absorbs exudate and forms a soft, cohesive gel.

This controls fluid while maintaining the moist environment shown to accelerate healing. The conformable construction enhances patient comfort and minimizes leakage, while the hydrocolloid technology allows removal with little or no damage to newly formed skin tissue.

The waterproof, germ-proof backing protects the wound from external contamination, and the dressing's extended wear time reduces dressing-change frequency. DuoDERM CGF is recommended for pressure ulcer management by leading wound-care guidelines.
