Product description

ConvaTec Stomahesive Paste is a hydrocolloid/pectin-based protective skin-barrier paste used as a filler and caulking agent around the stoma. Applied to the skin or to the adhesive side of a skin-barrier wafer, the light-tan paste fills uneven skin surfaces, folds, scars and creases to create a flatter, more even pouching surface.

This improves wafer adhesion, helps prevent stoma output from tracking under the barrier, and extends ostomy system wear time while protecting the peristomal skin from irritation and leakage. Note that Stomahesive Paste is not an adhesive — it works by filling gaps that would otherwise allow leakage to begin.

The non-sensitizing formula is designed to minimize the risk of redness or inflammation and is compatible with colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy systems.
